All information regarding Mages, their powers, politics and their Cluts can be found here.
Mage
Powerful beings able to manipulate the very fabric of the universe they are the monsters who first created the Gargoyles.
Looks
There is no distinguishing feature between human or mage. They live ordinary lives in ordinary homes and ordinary places. They have no reason to stand out, hunters won't make things easier for them. Mages come in all shapes and sizes, from the mundane to the tuxedo and tie. They can be extremely elaborate sometimes as well.
A key thing to look for ar trinkets. A mage has enemies and they need their magic with them at all times, that mean carrying small enhancement spells on their person. These trinkets can vary from bracelet to necklaces to a rabbits foot. It will be something strange and off a sure sign someone is a mage.
Powers
Elements: They can control and wield the elements like a sword. This can vary from the strength of the mage and powers of the spell. From tidal waves and earthquakes, to fire balls and simple winds.
Time: Some mages can stop time utterly in its tracks, making it near impossible to fight him.
Telekinesis: Controlling inanimate objects, this is a handy power and can make kill him rather annoying. It also enables them to fly.
Necromancy: One of the more famous powers of the Mage, the ability to call upon the dead minions of old. This is a hard fought battle, but once you destroy the minions it will be easy to kill the mage.
There are many other spells they can use, these are just the basics. When fighting mages expect the unexpected.
Weakness
Human: Mages are human, so anything that will kill a human will kill a mage, fire, bullets and knives are all good.
Witnesses: For some reason when other people (non mages) observe the magic of a Mage the magic becomes frail, weak and disappears, luring a mage into the open where everyone can see him will be best bet at destroying him.
