Here in Gargoyles the Forgotten we strive to give everyone a memorable experience they can take with them for a long, long time. To accomplish this we ask that all members, staff or simply players try to adhere to the few rules we've put down.
They are simple enough and not hard to follow and if you do follow them and listen to us when we speak you will find this forum to be a wonderful place that you won't be leaving anytime soon.
Thank you for taking the time to read through these, as you can see we try to keep everything as loose and relaxed as possible. If anything here troubles you or you feel you were in justly treated, feel free to PM me and I will help you as quickly as possible.
All questions can be posted in the 'Confusing Scripts' Board please.

- Be civil
This is simple enough to understand and (seems to be) bloody hard to follow. People don't appreciate being yelled at as I'm sure you are all aware. Don't be rude, discriminating or vulgar to any of the members. - No Impersonation Staff Members
Is it fun? Yes. Is it hilarious? Yes. Will it get you kicked off the board? Yes. - Swearing is Allowed
But don't over do it. We do want to try and keep the forum as open and friendly as possible. But this is a more advanced Role-Play so swearing is allowed, just not to a vulgar degree. We are trying to keep a certain standard here. - No R rated or NC-17
As mentioned above we are still trying to keep a standard. In all art, fiction and Role-Plays you are expected to keep a certain standard. All art or fiction rated above PG-13 must be posted to a staff member before being posted on a board. They will make the board password entry only. No R or NC-17 Role-Plays may be posted. - Decent Replies Please
This is an intermediate to advance Role-Play we do expect our member to give at least decent replies. One liners are acceptable on chatboards, art boards and any other OOC board. In Role-Plays however, we do want at least a good paragraph or two. If you reply with a one liner every week or so we don't mind, just please don't make it a habit.
Characters and Role-Plays - Character Limit
None. We are trying to keep the forum as open as possible, you can make as many as you want, but if you are getting swamped with too many Role-plays you are more than welcome to put a few of them in 'slumber'. They will still be yours, but they are simply out of the way for now and will be moved to the 'Slumbering Gargoyles' board. - God Modding and Power-Play
I don't feel I need to explain this seeing as most of the people who will play will be mature. But there's is always a chance for inexperienced ones who joining so here goes;
Power-Play is all powerful characters that can never hit, hurt or even looked strange upon. They are Mary-sues, perfect characters and they ( as you can well believe) are bloody annoying. So please refrain from Power-Playing, it really does kill a mood in a Role-Play.
God-Modding is less annoying than Power-Playing, but is still a nuisance. This is when one player decided for himself what happens to someone else's player (without said player's permission) and hurt, kicks or even kills the other player. As you can see unacceptable and please also refrain from doing so. - Thread starting
You can start as many as you want, but keep in mind that when you start a thread make it interesting please. A one liner first post won't get anyones attention. This rule is only applicable to Role-Playing. In OOC threads you can start one anyway you want. - Try not to Lag
If you're going away, please let other Role-Players know. That way they won't get annoyed with you. You have every right to post as frequently (or as infrequently) as you want, but when you start a Role-Play with someone just let them know when you'll be going on a 4 week vacation. - Role-Playing in different threads with one Character.
Not allowed (apart from flashback). It avoids confusion and will prevent players from hording all the Role-Plays.
