This character sheet is the best place to start in Gargoyle's the Forgotten. It gives you all the links to the most important things you need to know. It will help you create your first gargoyle and once it has been accepted and crafted we will help you further by creating a Role-Play specifically for your character. This RP will be an introduction into the game and will simply get you past the first few steps and into the game.
Good luck and any further questions don't hesitate to ask.
NOTE: WHEN CREATING A NEW CHARACTER BE SURE IT ADD IN THE TITLE YOU MASON.
Name:
Character name
Concept:
A short description of your character i.e.: An old creepy and bitchy bar lady.
Mason:
Here are the Masons, there will be more, but for now these are the four you can chose from.
Stone:
Stone is the material used to create you. Here are the four types you can choose from.
Cluster:
You don't have to choose one, but this will be your group that you're in. This will basically have an effect on your game play. The politics, where you'll be safe and what you're allowed to do. It gives some restrictions, but makes for a richer game play. Later you guys will be able to make your own.
Bonds:
THREE BONDS. Bonds are your powers. Your Mason decides one, your stone the second and then you can choose another. As your experience increases you can later choose more. You can find a list of them Here.
Burdens
These are your tasks. Written, carved and inscribed physically into your body. Examples of Burdens: Light for the Lost, Advisor to the law, Tower Guardian.
NOTE: ON VICE AND VIRTUE: These two things don't have a profound effect on the game play yet, for now they're just a little something extra to add to the flavor of your character.
Personality:
At least two chapters worth four lines please.
Appearance (Gargoyle):
At least one chapter worth five lines please.
Appearance (Human):
Be as creative as wish, at least five lines please.
Slumber:
Yes/No Slumber is the condition a Gargoyle enters when he completely shuts down. They become utterly motionless and it is virtually impossible to awake them unless the gargoyle decides to. When you're feeling swamped, overwhelmed by too many character or you're simply tired of one but don't have the heart to destroy it, feel free to put them in slumber. Just remember to add the spot where they are sleeping. Usually they go to places where they feel safe, like a church roof or even a graveyard, but a place where they can still watch over the world in their dreams.
